Danish National Space Center (DRC)

The main areas of activity of the Danish National Space Center (DNSC) are research, research-based services and products and national coordination of space activities in Denmark. The DNSC conducts research in astrophysics, solar system physics, geodesy, and space technology.

The research done at the DNSC forms the basis for a variety of services and products which are offered to Danish industry, authorities and educational institutions - e.g. technology transfer, advice on space-related matters and supervision of PhD students. DNSC is heading the Danish Space Consortium which consists of all major space-related institutions and companies in Denmark. The Consortium advises the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation on Danish space policy - also with regard to the Danish membership of the European Space Agency. DNSC is hosting the secretariat of the Consortium and is the national contact point for the Danish space sector.
