Danish Transport Research Institute (DTF)

DTF carries out research in transport safety and risk. We have a special focus on road users and the psychological aspects of road user behaviour. Furthermore we carry out research in transport economics and transport modelling focusing on economic analyses and transport modelling. The institute renders advisory functions for government authorities within the fields of infrastructure and traffic politics. In the ModelCenter we design and improve traffic models. We cooperate with national and international authorities, research institutions and consultancies including the EU and coordinate national and international research projects as well.
